53 works are listed above, out of the 63 exhibition total - some CAC names are undecipherable in the article "Exhibition at Long Beach." (L.A. Times, July 24, 1910)
This exhibition is the first time CAC members exhibit and are acknowledged as such since the club's formation. Many of the non-CAC exhibitors will eventually become CAC members in the following years.
Interestingly, some early members of the Painters' Club - William Swift Daniell, Norman St. Clair and possibly W. E. (William Alexander?) Sharp participate - but not as CAC members. They too will eventually join the CAC. |
