Sponsorship Opportunities

The California Art Club, est. 1909, a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization whose primary purposes are to promote the fine arts in the fields of painting, drawing and sculpture referred to as traditional and representational art, seeks sponsors for many of its programs and events.

Monthly Meetings

Corporations and individuals are invited to sponsor monthly meetings which are open to all CAC members as well as the general public. Meetings are held from September through May and attendance is approximately 100 people. The meetings cover a wide variety of topics of interest to artists, collectors, galleries and patrons of the arts. For a Monthly Meeting Sponsorship of $1,000, sponsors will be:

  • Named on all meeting signage and publicly acknowledged at the meeting
  • Named in the California Art Club Newsletter (circulation 5,000)
  • Named on the California Art Club website, under Meetings with a link to their website
  • Given the opportunity to display materials at the meeting check-in area
  • Named in all press materials about the meeting

To sponsor a Monthly Meeting, please call the CAC office at 626/583-9009 and ask for the CAC Program Director.

Exhibitions

The California Art Club's premier exhibition each year is the Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition, held in October at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. Sponsorship of this exhibition allows the CAC to build on a long tradition of presenting world-class exhibitions to an increasingly astute audience that grows each and every year. To document this important exhibition, the CAC produces a 150+-page colour catalogue, which includes artists' biographies and works of art, as well as an introduction written by a prominent art historian. The Gold Medal Juried Exhibition expenses total approximately $100,000 and sponsorship opportunities are available at many levels, with special benefits accompanying each level.

Throughout the year, there are other exciting Exhibitions and Events, for example: The Spiritual Spectrum: Paintings and Sculptures by Members of the California Art Club at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles; Annual Sights of Southern California at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana; Pasadena Rotary Club's California Art Club Artists Capture Pasadena and the San Gabriels; Paintings of Napa Valley by Northern California Artists at the Napa Valley Art Museum; Plein Air Painting Events at various unique locations such as historic Mission San Juan Capistrano and L.A.'s Chinatown; and many more. With each of the Club's exhibitions, there are a variety of opportunities for sponsorship, from underwriting printed materials or reception expenses, to helping with general operating expenses for the event. All sponsors are appreciated and recognized appropriately.

For more information about sponsoring the Gold Medal Juried Exhibition or other events, please call the CAC office at 626/583-9009 and ask for either the Program Director or the Collectors' Circle Coordinator.
